EY Lion: Product Lifecycle Management Tool
Managing the product lifecycle from development to launch and beyond is especially complex in enterprise environments. That’s why we created a scalable tool designed to streamline this process. The solution includes three flexible applications that support different lifecycle stages and can be adapted to various industries. A fourth, the Admin App, acts as a central hub that connects all components.

When a leading pharmaceutical client partnered with us, they faced a common industry challenge: managing complex product lifecycles across disconnected tools and teams. With strict compliance standards and global operations, the need for a streamlined, centralized solution was clear.
This project focuses on simplifying product lifecycle management by providing an integrated system of three customizable applications, each supporting a different phase of the process. The fourth application - a centralized Admin App - brings everything together, enabling better control, visibility, and collaboration across departments. Designed with scalability in mind, the solution can be tailored to meet the needs of various industries beyond pharma.

Admins needed a single place to manage users, settings, and data across apps. The lack of centralization caused inefficiency and errors.

How might we create a unified and scalable system that streamlines product lifecycle management for pharmaceutical teams helping them collaborate efficiently, manage scenarios and data with clarity?

Our solution was based on three goals:
Centralize workflows to give teams full visibility into scenarios, data, and user roles across all client projects.
Improve collaboration and control by enabling non-technical users to manage roles and data without relying on IT.
Ensure scalability and by designing flexible components that can be easily adapted to different client needs and project setups.

Alongside this project, I also had the opportunity to contribute to building a new design system and organizing the existing one, from restructuring and reassigning design tokens to defining all necessary components, styles and foundations.

We are still working on the development of this application and testing it with users.
This phase involves testing by end users and stakeholders to confirm the app is ready for production.
Working on this application taught me how complex product lifecycle management can be in highly regulated industries like pharma.
I saw how important it is to involve users early to fully understand their workflows and pain points. Also, I definitely became an expert in responsive tables.
