Brand Operating System

Brand OS is Strategy's internal tool for producing on-brand content. It lets anyone in the organization, regardless of design skill, create a publish-ready post (LinkedIn, Instagram, presentations, Stories, reports) without opening Figma or Canva, and without risking drift from the brand.

[Problem]
Even simple marketing graphics required a designer’s input or time-consuming manual work. Without design expertise, teams often strayed from brand guidelines.
[Solution]
An AI chat that turns a short brief into an on-brand graphic. Users can edit it directly or through chat and restore earlier versions.
[Personas]
The Marketing Generalist
Goal: Ship a good-looking, safe-to-publish post today, without having to learn the brand's rules by heart.
Frustration: Doesn't know the exact brand colors or fonts; generic tools produce results that read as off-brand; wary of being corrected publicly.
Needs from the tool: Plain-language input, guardrails built in by default, and confidence that the output is already safe to publish.
The Social Media Manager
Goal: Turn a brief into a platform-correct post in minutes, then iterate without reopening a design tool.
Frustration: Manually resizing and reformatting the same message for every platform; slow back-and-forth with design for small copy tweaks.
Needs from the tool: Platform-aware format selection and fast natural-language iteration on an already-built design.
[Core flows]
One input, no menus: the user describes what they need in a few words (e.g. “a LinkedIn post about our product launch, with a photo”), and the AI decides:
1. the format (square / landscape / wide / story / document) based on context
2. the content layout (statement / key stats / benefits / card grid / text+image);
3. the final, finished copy in the brand's voice (Simple, Bold, Smart)
4. and, if the brief implies a photo, generates a matching image prompt and calls the Higgsfield image-generation API to add a real, on-style photo instead of stock imagery.

Once generated, the design stays fully editable: click any element to edit it directly, or describe the change in chat (“switch to dark theme”, “add a photo of...”). The AI maps that to a specific, structured change instead of guessing from keywords. The full edit history is visible and reversible: every prompt sent lands in a “chat history” list with a one-click icon to revert back to that exact point.

[Metrics]
In the first month after launch, most of the marketing team had used Brand OS. One-off social post requests to the design team fell by roughly 60%, and the time from idea to export dropped from most of a three hours to about 10 minutes.
